LRplay

Terms and Conditions of Use

Version 2026-11-06 · Last updated: November 6, 2026 · Versión en español

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The version you accept is the Spanish version, which prevails if there is any difference between them.

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of LRplay, available at lrplay.stream. Before using the app we ask you to expressly accept them, together with the Privacy Policy, by checking the corresponding box. We store the date and the version you accepted. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

If we ever change them substantially, we'll let you know and ask you to accept the new version before you keep using the app. Changes don't affect a period you already paid for.

The service is provided by Lucas Romano, domiciled in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina (“LRplay”, “we”).

2. Description of the service

LRplay is a web application to upload, listen to, organize and comment on audio mixes and masters in progress, and share them with collaborators through temporary invite links. There are also native applications (macOS and iOS) and a plugin for audio software, which are ways of accessing the same service.

3. Access, accounts and invitations

  • Anyone can create an account, which starts on the Free plan at no cost. You can also reach LRplay through an invite link someone shared with you.
  • You sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under your session.
  • Invite links are personal, expire after 24 hours and allow a limited number of uses. Don't share them with unauthorized third parties.
  • When you create your account you choose a username, which the people you share projects with can see and which stays permanently tied to your email.
  • You must be 18 or older to use the service.

3.1. Plan and role are different things

Your plan (Free or Pro) belongs to your account and defines what you can create. Your role belongs to each project: you're the owner of the projects you created and a guest in those someone else shared with you. Being a guest is always free, whatever your plan, and projects you're a guest in don't use your storage or project quota.

3.2. What a guest can do

Unless the project owner enables additional permissions, a person who receives an invitation can listen to the content (including synced video and stems, if any), reorder songs and leave, edit or delete time-stamped notes. They can't rename, upload new versions, change covers or delete songs or projects.

4. Plans, payments and subscriptions

4.1. Plans

LRplay offers a Free plan, at no cost, and two paid ones: Pro and Pro Plus. What each includes is in the table below. Wherever these Terms say “Pro plan”, they also include Pro Plus.

The limits and features in force are those shown on the Your plan page at the time you subscribe. We may expand them for a particular account. We may change the plans going forward: changes that work against you don't apply to a period already paid and we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance. If we reduce the Free plan's limits, what you already uploaded isn't deleted.

Free trial. Each account can try the Pro plan at no cost for 14 days, once. We don't ask for a payment method for the trial and we don't charge anything when it ends: your account moves to the Free plan under the same rules as section 4.5, and we'll email you a few days before. During the trial, storage is 10 GB.

4.2. Billing and renewal

  • The Pro plan is a monthly subscription with automatic renewal: it's charged when you subscribe and then once a month until you cancel.
  • You can pay with Mercado Pago (in Argentine pesos) or PayPal (in US dollars). The charge is processed by the provider you choose; we don't receive or store your card details.
  • Before you confirm the purchase we show you the final price in the currency you'll be charged in. If you pay in pesos, that's the amount charged each month; if we update it, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel the subscription before it takes effect, at no cost.
  • Prices published for Argentina are final. If you pay from another country or with a foreign card, your bank or the payment provider may add their own taxes or fees, which we don't receive.
  • For each payment we issue the invoice that corresponds to the provider's tax status.

4.3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription whenever you want, with no minimum term or penalty, from the Your plan page, through the same channel and with the same steps you used to subscribe (art. 10 ter of Argentine Law 24.240). We email you a cancellation confirmation with an identification code. Canceling stops future charges; the Pro plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

4.4. Withdrawal and refunds

  • As a consumer, you have the right to revoke the purchase within 10 calendar days of making it, at no cost, with no penalty and without having to explain why, and to get back everything you paid (art. 34 of Law 24.240 and arts. 1110 to 1113 of the Civil and Commercial Code). To do so, use the Cancel a purchase page, linked visibly on LRplay's main page.
  • Outside that case, payments already made aren't refunded, except for duplicate or erroneous charges, or where applicable law provides otherwise.
  • To request a refund, write to us at [email protected] or through Support inside the app. It's refunded through the same payment method.

4.5. Declined payments and plan downgrade

If a charge fails we'll email you, and the payment provider may retry it. For the 15 days after the failure you keep the full Pro plan. If we can't charge within that period, your account moves to the Free plan and we'll email you about that too.

We don't delete anything when you downgrade: your projects, songs, videos and stems stay as they are, and your guests can keep listening. If you exceed the Free plan's limits, you can still listen to and download everything, but you can't create projects or upload new content beyond those limits until you free up space or go back to Pro. Pro-only features (for example, uploading video or using the plugin) are unavailable in the meantime.

4.6. Your files when you close your account

You can delete your content at any time. If you stop using the service and request deletion of your account, we delete your files and data within a reasonable period, except what we must keep by legal obligation (for example, billing records) and copies in backups, which are purged over time. Download anything you want to keep first.

5. Acceptable use

By using LRplay you agree not to:

  • Upload or share content you don't have the necessary rights to, or that infringes copyright, trademarks or other third-party rights.
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, violates third parties' privacy or contains malicious software.
  • Try to access other people's projects or data, bypass access controls, or test the service's security without prior written authorization.
  • Use automated means to download content in bulk, or overload the infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to the service.
  • Share your access or invite links with unauthorized people.

6. Your content and copyright

  • You keep ownership of all the content you upload (audio, video, covers, text). We claim no ownership rights over it.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit and display your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (for example, generating waveforms, transcoding, syncing video and audio, or delivering it to the people with access to the project). This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups or caches that are purged over time.
  • You represent and warrant that you have all the necessary rights to the content you upload and that its use within LRplay doesn't infringe third-party rights. You're solely responsible for the content you upload and the invite links you generate.
  • Uploaded content is work in progress and shouldn't be considered a publication or a finished work.

7. Infringement claims (content takedown)

If you believe content hosted on LRplay infringes your copyright or other rights, write to us at [email protected] with:

  1. Your contact details.
  2. Identification of the content and its location (link or project).
  3. A description of the infringed right and a good-faith statement that the use isn't authorized.
  4. A statement that the information is accurate and that you're the rights holder or their representative.

We'll review the claim and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content. We may suspend access for users who repeatedly infringe third-party rights.

8. LRplay's intellectual property

The software, design, the “LRplay” brand and the logo belong to their owner or licensors. No rights over them are transferred to you beyond using the service under these Terms. The logo's typefaces are in the public domain (CC0) and other open-source software components are used under their respective licenses.

9. Availability and changes

We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions, maintenance or functionality changes without prior notice. We may modify or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms; if the change is substantial we'll announce it through the app or by email.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

We provide the service with reasonable diligence, but we can't guarantee it will work without interruptions or errors. LRplay isn't a backup service: always keep your own copies of the original files. Nothing in this section limits the warranties that Argentine Consumer Protection Law 24.240 or any other mandatory rule grants you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LRplay and its owner won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, content or opportunities, arising from the use of or inability to use the service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

If you use LRplay as a consumer, this section doesn't apply to the extent it contradicts art. 37 of Law 24.240, which deems void any clauses that limit the provider's liability for damages or restrict the consumer's rights. In that case, the law prevails.

12. Indemnity

You agree to hold LRplay and its owner harmless from third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or the infringement of third-party rights.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or revoke your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, or if you're no longer authorized. You can stop using the service at any time. When access is revoked, the owner's projects aren't deleted; your username is kept to preserve authorship of your comments, unless you request its deletion.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. If you're a consumer, the courts of your domicile have jurisdiction (art. 36 of Law 24.240), and you can also file a complaint with the consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction or through Argentina's Prior Conciliation System for Consumer Relations (COPREC). If you're not a consumer, the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, have jurisdiction.

If you use LRplay from another country, this doesn't affect the rights that your country's consumer protection or data protection rules grant you on a mandatory basis.
